Wicked White Sangria

Updated: Jan 26, 2021

This is our basic white Sangria mix to which you can add your choice of alcohol, which in our case would be Mead (honey wine), which we always have available at The Oasis or white wine, such as Pinot Grigio or perhaps an unoaked Chardonnay.

Or you can drink it straight, a refreshing lemonade-like mocktail.

Makes one quart of mix

2 limes

2 lemons

24-oz tonic

8 oz seltzer

¼ cup cucumber

¼ cup mint

½ tablespoon honey

Fill a pitcher half full with ice. Add juice from 1.5 lemons and limes. Cut the remaining half lemon and lime into wedges and add, saving a couple of slices for garnish. Add remaining ingredients and mix.

We recommend a 50-50 mix of mead/wine. If you want to up the alcohol, a shot of Triple Sec is traditional, or you could go with a shot of gin.

Cheers!
